The next Book Club of the LCFR will be Tuesday March 13 at the home of Dennis Neyman, 10523 Buckeye Trace, Goshen, KY, 40026 at 7:00 pm.

We will be reading Bill Browder, Red Notice: A True Story of High Finance, Murder, and One Man’s Fight for Justice (Simon & Schuster 20015). Browder, who was CEO of Hermitage Capital and an investor in Putin’s Russia, wrote the book after his lawyer, Sergei Magnitsky, was arrested for uncovering high-level corruption. Magnitsky died in a Russian jail, and Congress subsequently imposed sanctions on Russia in the form of the Magnitsky Act of 2012.
